Not feeling so great today. I slept okay last night and then Dave left for work this morning and I was planning on getting out of bed and the next thing I knew it was 9:00 a.m. I don't remember the last time I slept until 9. I am feeling really tired today and my stomach and back are hurting.

I already made a big salad for dinner and I am planning on getting on the treadmill at some point today. I just feel like relaxing.

Yesterday I went to get a smoothie for lunch and I went into the place and the lady making the smoothies asked me if I was close to my due date. I told her yes and she said that some other pregnant lady came in to get a smoothie the other day and she said that her doctor told her to eat lots of pineapples and that will help get labor started. The smoothie lady said she never heard that before, but asked if I wanted something with pineapple. I told her to just give me a smoothie with pineapple and pineapple juice (she actually added some strawberries and banana to it too). Dave went and bought me canned pineapples yesterday, so I am planning on eating lots of those today. I think I am going to look it up on the internet. I have never heard of anything like that before, but I am willing to try anything at this point. Anyone heard about the pineapple thing? Or does anyone have any suggestions about how to hurry this labor on?

I am really in the mood to cook or bake, but I can't really think of anything to make. I may need to look through some cook books. We will see. I am going to take it easy today and just see what happens today.

I haven't heard about pineapple either, hopefully it works! I have heard about full moons triggering labor. I was thinking about you during the eclipse last week. I know it's not the same as a full moon, but I figured maybe all that lunar activity would start something up!

I have never heard of the pineapple thing. But I have heard that sex, spicy foods and enemas can do the trick. I do not recommend attempting all at the same time...could get messy. Good Luck!
