Pictures from Tulsa

Samuel is started to be out of control.  We went to his 15 month appointment yesterday.  He got three shots, but handled it really well.  He weights 28 pounds (93%) and is 33 in (94%).  He is a big guy.  When I was talking to his pediatrician, I told him that Samuel has started to scream, I mean ear piercing screams and most of the time it is when we are at a restaurant trying to enjoy a nice dinner.  Samuel's doctor said that this is normal behavior and that we just shouldn't plan on having long dinners out unless we want screaming to occur.  Not the greatest advice, because Dave and I like to go out to dinner.  We will just see how it goes.

When we were at dinner one night in Tulsa, he screamed his ear piercing scream.  I looked him directly in his eyes and told him to be quiet and that his behavior was not funny.  First he looked at me with a pouty face, lower lip pushed out and his eyes welled up a little bit and then his burst out laughing.  Not just a little snicker, a full out laugh.  That little shit knew exactly what I was saying and he thought it was hilarious.  We then quickly inhaled our food and left before more screaming continued.

Here are some pictures from the week:

Welcome to life with a toddler! Dinnertime from here on out will be different. And wait until there's another little one sitting at the table! It's chaos! And when you try to go out to eat it's even worse! "It's just a phase, it's just a phase", is our mantra. And when that won't do, feed the kids early and eat when they're in bed.

::gasp:: Taylor is doing the EXACT SAME hysterical screaming thing. Only it was every time we were in the car in KL. So hoping it doesn't continue now that we're home.
