Just found this website for wall decals.  Love it.

Also, Land of Nod has some cute ones too.

My Little Helper

This is a sign of how much vacuuming and cleaning I have been doing.  Samuel thinks it is a lot of fun to help me vacuum.  He has learned how to turn on the vacuum and throws a fit if I don't let him push it around.  Too bad he can't do the entire house.

On another note, we had people come out to power wash our house.  The house and cement in back look great, but the buys that did it were scary and weird.  First, they just freaked me out.  They were disgusting looking and all of them wore sleeveless shirts and cut off shorts.  One was smoking a cigarette when he came to the door.  I told them not to let the dog out because she will take off.  I just checked outside and they left both of the gates open.  I am so pissed.  Then to make it even worse, the guy in charge asked two totally inappropriate questions or I guess I should say statements.

First, he came in the house and said "I'm thirsty.  Can I have water?"  Not even a please.  Even if he did say please it is totally inappropriate.  They were only at our house for an hour and a half at the most.  Give me a break.

Second, he was done with all the work and he said "I need to use your bathroom.  Where is it?"  I am sorry, really, do you really have to go now.  I wanted to say no, but he used the restroom, didn't wash his hands and left.

He snagged the check off the dining room table without me even giving it to him.  I looked down and I said "Oh, I guess you already took the check."

They were total freaks.  They freaked me out and we will never use them again.

I wish I had interesting things to talk about lately, but I don't.  I am obsessed with keeping my house clean and I am finding new things to clean everyday.  Dave says that when he gets home everyday from work, the house looks ready to show.  I have clean almost every window in the house, plus most of the doors.  We are getting the house power washed tomorrow, so I am not obsessing about the dirt on the outside of the windows yet.  We have those tilt in windows, so if the power washing doesn't get them completely clean, I will be cleaning the outside of the windows on Friday.

On the baby note, we bought new furniture for the baby room this weekend.  We bought the Ragazzi Classico in Cherry.  It should be the first set of furniture you will see on their website.  We bought it at Treasure Rooms.  We talked them into holding it in their storage facility until the beginning of January.  They were not very happy, but we didn't feel bad about begging.  The furniture was 40% off and there is no way we want it delivered to our current address.  Anyway, if we find a new house soon and sell ours soon, we can get the furniture earlier.

I have a doctor's appointment on Monday and I am really looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again.  Since I have stopped feeling sick all day long, I don't really feel pregnant.  It is a strange feeling.  I got on the scale this morning and I have only gained 5 pounds.  I am pretty excited about that.  I think at this time when I was pregnant with Samuel I gained probably 15 or so.  But, I also ate every food that came within close proximity to me.  I am a little more controlled with this pregnancy.

I am off to the grocery store.

Busy Weekend

We were hoping for a relaxing weekend, but it turned out to be jam packed.  On Saturday morning, we all got up and decided to go for a walk because it was absolutely gorgeous.  After our long walk, we decided to run some errands to get stuff to clean our house and do the little things our real estate agent asked us to do.  Then we headed to Whole Foods to get groceries and some lunch.

Side note:  Samuel is starting to recognize and say many things and is making a few animal sounds all the time, like a pig and gorilla.  First we walked around the produce isles and he caught a glimpse of the cheese area and started saying "Cheese, Cheese".  We had to quickly get past that area because he was leaning out of the cart trying to grab at whatever cheese he could get his hands one.  Then we were heading to the cereal isle, they had a huge display of on sale cereals at the end and all of the sudden Samuel started making his gorilla noises.  I couldn't figure out why he was making the noises and I looked over and there was a huge display of Gorilla Munch.  It was hilarious.  So we grabbed him a box.  Why not?!

Okay, back to the day.  We were heading home to eat our lunch around 12:15 and we got a call from our real estate company and someone wanted to see our house at 2.  Dave and I totally freaked out.  It was almost time for Samuel's afternoon nap and we needed to do some serious cleaning of the house.  Luckily Jonathan and Laura were home and came over to get Samuel, so he could go to their house for a nap and to play around.  Dave and I clean the house as fast as we could and then ran out of the house.

Oh by the way, here is our house listing.

So that was Saturday and we were looking forward to relaxing on Sunday.  Well, at 7:30 in the morning on Sunday we were up eating breakfast and Dave checked our listing online and noticed that they had posted that we were having an open house on Sunday.  We aren't supposed to have one until next Sunday, the 30th.  Dave called our real estate agent and she said that the tech people must have accidentally put in the info for this Sunday instead of the 30th.

So, from 12-2, we hung out at our house hoping that no one would show up.  Our real estate agent came over around 12:30 to give us some packets of info on our house and she hung out a little bit just in case someone stopped by.  Luckily she was there because someone did come by.  We weren't going to let anyone in (because our house still was spotless), but these people were from out of town, so we let them look at the house.

It was crazy.  At least a few people have seen the house, but oh my goodness.  It wasn't a relaxing weekend like we hoped.  Oh well.

Thank goodness it is Monday!

Milk Mustache

I haven't posted pictures in a while.  Here are some from the past week or so.

As I said before, Samuel is really getting into climbing.  We were in the process of cleaning off and putting away our pot and pan rack in our kitchen and I look over after cleaning off the shelves and this is what I saw:

He was pretty happy with himself, until I told him he wasn't allowed to do that and pulled him off.

This  morning he was eating breakfast and drinking his milk.  He told me he was all done and I looked over and he had the best milk mustache I have seen in  long time.  I started laughing and he wasn't so excited at first about me telling him he had a milk mustache.  Then I told him to smile and these are the pictures I got:

Picture Day

I have been a little stressed out the past few days.  We are getting pictures taken of our house this afternoon.  I have been cleaning and organizing and stressing out.  The real estate agent came by yesterday to try to stage our house to make it look nicer.  She brought lots of things to put everywhere.  I had to tell her "no way" on over half of the stuff.  I know it is just for staging, but some of the stuff of hideous and I wasn't about to have that shit in my house.  It looks pretty good right now.  I am just worried about keeping it up.

Samuel has been a wild man lately.  He won't sit still for even a second.  He is into everything and climbing on everything.  It wears me out just trying to keep up with him.

I am officially showing.  Not much though.  I think some people would just think I have a fat stomach.  It doesn't really look like pregnancy belly yet.  I worked out on Monday and I am waiting for Samuel to wake up so I can go again today.  We tried something new last night.  We have been putting Samuel to bed at 8, but he has been waking up around 6:15 every morning.  He is so tired and then doesn't take the greatest nap during the day.  So we put him to bed last night around 7:30 when he started to act tired.  It is almost 8 and he is still asleep.  He woke up at 5 and 6 and cried for a bit, but went right back to sleep.  I am trying to pay bills and clean up while he is sleeping.

I better go clean the last bathroom.

I am sad that the weekend is over.  It went by so quickly.  I had a wonderful night out with Dave on Friday night and then we stayed in on Saturday night and just ordered food and relaxed.  It was a very nice relaxing birthday.  We did however, pack and clean up our house all weekend.  It is getting pretty close to looking good.  I have a lot of work to do tomorrow and Tuesday to get things ready for the photographer to come and take pictures of the house.  Hopefully it will at least look picture ready by Wednesday.

I am starting to think about how I want to decorate the new baby's nursery.  I am searching for really cool modern wall decals.  I found a really cool website and I am listing it here, so I won't forget about it. (dezignwithaz.com)  If you guys know of any other websites that you like, please pass it along.

I am hoping that I will have time to get a nursery ready in a new house, but if I don't we all will live.

I am going to go to bed now.
